*Histoire de Henri le Grand* is an antique French history book published in 1816. The book recounts the life of “Henry the Great,” Henry IV of France, who reigned from 1589 to 1610. Henry IV is remembered for helping end the French Wars of Religion and issuing the Edict of Nantes in 1598, which granted limited religious rights to Protestants in Catholic France. The leather binding bears the coat of arms of the City of Paris.
